Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect your email so we can tell you when PTO Mode launches, and almost nothing else. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run ad trackers, and you can leave the list anytime.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the waitlist. That’s what we use to send your launch invite (the manual setup guide is delivered right on the site, no inbox required).
• A one-way, salted hash of your IP address at the moment you sign up. We never store your raw IP — the hash exists only to rate-limit spam and abuse on the signup form. It can’t be reversed back into your address.
• Optional campaign tags (utm_source / medium / campaign) if you arrive from a link that carries them, so we know which posts brought people in.

Analytics — cookieless, aggregate only

We use privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics (Umami) to count visits and see which pages resonate. It sets no cookies, doesn’t follow you across sites, and only ever gives us aggregate numbers — never a profile of you.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.
• We don’t run third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels.
• We don’t need an account for the app’s free tier — your blocklists and schedules live on your device, not our servers.

Unsubscribe anytime

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe. Use it and we’ll remove you from the list — no hard feelings, no “are you sure?” gauntlet.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@ptomode.com and a human will sort it out. If you’re in the EU/UK or California, the usual GDPR / CCPA rights apply and we honour them.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date below and, for anything material, tell waitlist members by email.
